Alumni & Their Families Event at the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History-July 2026
The Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization, in collaboration with the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History, hosted a special summer event for the University's alumni community and their families. More than 400 participants joined the event and enjoyed an afternoon of nature, science, discovery, and family-friendly activities.
Throughout the event, participants enjoyed free admission to all exhibitions at the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History, Israel's National Museum of Natural History, which houses an impressive scientific collection of approximately 5.5 million specimens. In addition to the museum's permanent exhibitions, visitors explored the new interactive exhibition, "Pollination Unveiled," highlighting the vital role of pollinators in ecosystems and everyday life.
As part of the program, children took part in hands-on exploration workshops, creative activity stations, games, and interactive experiences. Families also enjoyed screenings of clips from the Hebrew zoological album "A Living Legend", along with a variety of additional activities that were made for an engaging experience for all ages.
Each child received a complimentary Journey Journal, designed to encourage interactive exploration of the museum through observation, discovery, and hands-on activities.
The event was held as part of the ongoing collaboration between the Tel Aviv University Alumni Organization and the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History, to offer alumni and their families of cultural, scientific, and recreational activities while strengthening the connection between the University and its alumni long after graduation.
